Tell us about your role.
I lead a high performing team made up of Australian Defence Force (ADF) veterans that are fully integrated within No. 35 Squadron, RAAF. Our primary mission is to support aircraft flying operations and coordinate stakeholder requirements across the C-27J Enterprise – Maintenance, Logistics and Engineering.
Prior to that, I was with the RAAF for 13 years starting as an Avionics Technician and maintaining the F/A-18 Classic Hornet Fleets, the C-27J Spartan. I also worked on the redevelopment of the Avionics System Course for Australia. I then joined Northrop Grumman Australia as our first C-27J Field Service Representative in 2017.
What has been the highlight of your career so far at Northrop Grumman Australia?
One of the first significant tasks I had as a Field Services Representative was to coordinate an aircraft rescue effort. Working with the RAAF, Northrop Grumman Australia and Qantas we were able to rectify and dispatch the aircraft in a very small timeframe despite a lot of complex challenges and constraints.
What makes Northrop Grumman Australia different /special?
Northrop Grumman Australia supports ADF veterans transitioning to the Australian Defence Industry very well. On C-27J, we have veterans from Army, Navy and Air Force all working under the one roof supporting the capability.
What do you do in your spare time?
I am an avid supporter of the NRL and the Parramatta Eels. I also love to take my family camping & 4wding.
