The Importance of Safety in the Workplace Is One of Northrop Grumman’s Top Areas of Focus

A strong safety culture exists at Northrop Grumman, and it has been a central focus for generations. The importance of safety in the workplace is apparent and integral in all we do, whether in the planning process, the designing process or production on the manufacturing floor. Our objective is to protect the safety and health of our employees, visitors and contractors.

Every employee has a voice in ensuring that they and their coworkers are not exposed to hazards in the workplace.

June Is National Safety Month at Northrop Grumman

The National Safety Council (NSC) estimates that a worker is injured on the job every seven seconds. These injuries are preventable, and their impact on an employee’s quality of life can have many negative impacts. To recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, Northrop Grumman participates in the NSC’s National Safety Month each June.
