Company Giving
To support the diverse needs of the communities in which we live and work, Northrop Grumman, the Northrop Grumman Foundation and our generous employees provide strategic contributions aimed at strengthening our communities. Our core areas of giving include programs and partnerships that focus on four areas: STEM education, Military and Veterans, Health and Human Services and the Environment.
Our corporate contributions support accredited public schools and 501(c)(3) nonprofits within our areas of focus. Northrop Grumman and the Northrop Grumman Foundation do not accept unsolicited requests for funding.
The Northrop Grumman Foundation
The Northrop Grumman Foundation is dedicated to expanding and enhancing sustainable science, technology, mathematics and engineering education opportunities for students globally. Our education strategy focuses on supporting engineering and technology-based programs and initiatives, primarily focused on middle school through university students, that increase workforce readiness with an emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Community Outreach
ECHO Community Outreach Funds are special funds in select communities with large employee populations. ECHO accepts grant requests from local nonprofits to meet critical needs in these communities. Led by employee volunteers, a committee from each community reviews and awards grants based on available funds. Employees can select to allocate some or all of their ECHO funding to a local outreach fund, which in turn is pooled with other employees’ funding.
